Transfer calls and texts to another wireless phone.

I have a personal phone and a work phone, both are with Verizon, I want to keep my personal phone active for future use....for now I want to transfer calls and texts from personal phone to my work phone.   My personal phone is a LG ENV3 and my work phone is HTC Thunderbolt.

There is a way to transfer calls but I don't know about texts. You can call vzw and they can set up the transfer or you can do it yourself. I don't remember exactly how to do it but I know you dial *72 + the mobile number you want to transfer to ( if I remember correctly). Or you can get really crazy and setup a Google voice account, get a free Google #, and setup call forwarding to all your phones, plus setup work and personal voicemail messages that work off one phone number with multiple different contact groups. Just Google search Google voice, enter your gmail info, and start using the best voicemail service available. Imo
