Too Many Contacts with Facebook But I want the pictures!

I know this has been touched on before, however I don't feel as though I've found an answer that suits me.  I am not happy with the huge amount of contacts that have been added as my facebook contacts.  Also I find it annoying that I can't update the pictures without removing fb then readding it which takes a long time. I do like having the pictures, just not the additional contacts and the fact that it doesn't update...does anyone know a way to address BOTH of these issues?

One way so that all the contacts don't show at once is to go to your Contacts, press Menu, Display Group, change the group to either Google or Phone contacts whichever one your contacts sync with. This way they don't all show in contacts, but when you search for a contact it will still search Facebook contacts.
