I suspended my service while I was on vacation and now I can't remember what my sequence was to get in - the little dots. I have tried all sort of combinations but I just can't remember. Any idea how I can get in and reset one that I will remember?

PLEASE HELP ME - I know i am an idiot but do I need to contact Verizon? Will they help?

Verizon doesn't know your lock screen passcode. If you forgot it, your only option is to fail enough to be required log in via your gmail account. Hope you know that account information, because if you can't log into that (and changing the pass does NOT help you, it only works with the password the phone knows), your only option is a factory reset, which loses everything.

Jax_Omen is right. A master reset is the only way to unlock the phone is the gmail account isn't allowing you access. Factory master reset steps can be found here. Please follow the "Alternative Reset" steps.
