How can I sync my google contacts with this phone? I DO NOT want to use the Verizon backup assistant unless this is the ONLY option.
settings-->accounts and sync-->google-->then make sure "sync contacts" is checked. then "sync now." you do not have to use backup assistant.
If you already have your contacts in Google, all you have to do is set-up your Google email address on the thunderbolt and then Google will sync your contacts over the air, sometimes, Google sends you an email and you have to click the link in the email on the phone and then they will sync over the air. This only works when the contacts are already in Google.
