How do I use the USB cable for my LG Accolade to copy pictures to my computer? I know how it connects. Is there a device driver for the computer to copy the pictures from my LG Accolade to my computer?
I understand how important it is to backup your pictures. At this time we do not have any drivers or programs that will work with this device to transfer pictures. You can check LG's website, www.lge.com, to see if they have any drivers available.
Yes, you'll need to download the drivers online for it to connect to your computer. To find them, just do a Google search of "LG Accolade drivers" and you'll find multiple links to download from, or you can go to LG's website and look it up on there. Once you download them, plug your phone in, and it should start recognizing it automatically. From there, go to My Computer, and open up the device, and then copy and paste your pictures onto your computer.
Another route would be to text your pictures to your email. Just put your email address where you would normally put a phone number
Try BitPim. It is cumbersome but it works. Tell it you have VX9100 when it asks for phone model. There are post about this from April 28th. You may need to try BitPim several times to figure out how it works. The LG drivers are for modem use and just fill up your hard drive memory.
