Phone doesn't receive full message

I have a LG Cosmo Touch that I got a couple weeks ago. It just recently within the past week started only sending the very last part of the text message if the message was too long. For example, when the person would text me with more than the 160 characters it would do the whole 2/2 thing at the beginning suggesting there were two messages, but the first one never comes. On top of that, I do remember there being a time not too far back that I would get messages that are over 160 characters. This has become a real frustration for me. Please help!

- Have you tried a picture message its counted as a text message, you don't need a data plan and it is not charged as data when you send it as a picture message.

You don't have to attach a picture, and you are allowed 1000 characters.
Just choose picture message, and don't choose a picture, and type your long message in the text field.

Well I can send messages just fine, it is when people send them to me that the message doesn't fully send. I don't want to have to ask everyone to send me picture messages just so i can read their message when I should be able to anyways.

Sounds like the problem is on their end. Are they on verizon? If I send more than 160 characters to any provider I send as picture message because that sends 1,000 characters. Mary

We have seen some other users have this issue with not receiving the full text message. We are working with LG to find the root cause and resolve this issue.
