My phone has not been recieving text messages for two days.

I am a new owner of a Pantech Cruz. Have not had any problems with it until now. I'm part of a family share plan and I'm the only one having problems recieving text right now. PLEASE HELP!

Try pulling the battery for a minute.... also call *228 and choose option 1 to reset the phone. You will NOT lose any info, pix, or such.

This is a fairly easy problem for us to fix. May I ask are you able to send text messages? If so, then the issue may be with your account provisioning. May I ask that you send me a private message with your mobile number & contact number. In the message, please refer to this posting so I can expedite the solution.

I've been having the same problem for the past 3 days. However, although I am able to recieve texts from some phones, I am unable to get mesages from others altogether. I know theyre being sent to me, I just don't get them. Some of them were sent more than 2 days ago.

BigCranberry- I know how important it is to be able to receive text messages. I hate to hear you were having problems with your phone as well. Let me clarify, are you able to send messages without error? Are you only having problems receiving from certain numbers or is there a problem receiving from ALL numbers? Have you tried powering the phone off, then back on? Once you have done a power cycle, check some settings on the phone itself. From the main screen tap Settings Tap Security Enter Phone Lock Code ???? displays Enter the 4 digit lock code (should be the last 4 digits of your phone number unless you have made your own personal code) Tap Restrictions Go down to Messages Messages & make sure for outgoing & incoming you select Allow All If you have done these steps, and are still having problems with messaging, PM me in order for me to look into your account.
