Incredible 2 skype voice problem?

Hello, I just got Htc Incredible day before yesterday and today I try to use skype just for voice calls and it works but soon as I turn off the screen or put the phone to my ear I can't hear the other person, but soon as turn on the screen and talk with phone in front of me it works. I am sure this might be a skype issue but I am not sure, so is anyone else having this issue please help.

Have you tried an email to the developer through the email address listed in the Market description?

Thanks for the suggestion and now I did email the developer and BTW I am using skype 2.0.0.47 regular verision on WIFI not the verizon mobile.

Can few people try Skype 2.0.0.47 or the one that works on Wifi and tell me if their Incredible 2 works properly and see if turning off the screen effects skype at all? Basically whats happening is I can sign in skype and when I make a call it works until the screen stays on and soon as screen goes off I can't hear nothing even the test call echo service does the same. So, works fine on speaker phone with screen on but soon as the phone turns off the screen it cuts my ear piece, but sometimes I can hear bits and pieces. Please check and I contacted HTC but no help all was told that they are not responsible for 3rd party apps and no response from Skype. Thanks
