Every time I tray and make a call with my Android Charge I get loud crackling noises in the phone that can be heard by whomever I'm calling making the conversation impossible.
Sorry to hear you have this problem. I don't have it so I can't advise you personally, but you may want to look at this thread in the Samsung Droid Charge forum for good discussion and suggestions that may help.

I don't know what "traying a phone" is, but I have already returned two Sansung Charge phones for the same noise you describe. Both of my phones did this during a call. According to other forums, Samsung is aware of this problem.
