Powering On Issues with DROID X

My BACK button stopped working so I turned my phone off and when I turned it back on it won't go past the red M.

I've taken the battery out & tried again and it still isn't loading past that point. I've tried putting it on the charger, even though, I had a good charge on it when all this started, still it won't load past that point.

Suggestions are appreciated.

Did you take the Battery out whikle it was powered up at the red eye??  Try that first ... and leave battery out for like 2 mins. Try again.

 

If that doesn't work, see if you can boot it into SAFE MODE

 

- Power Off

- Press & Hold the Menu button (far left)

- Power up the phone - but continue to hold MENU button down for 1-2 mins

 

If you get past the red eye, it should say SAFE MODE in lower left corner.

 

If that works, power it off and back on as ususal and see what happens.
