Can't send a text to one particular number

I've got the same issues as most, but like the majority of us we are working through them hoping for a fix.  I have one particular phone number that if I receive a text from I can't send a reply back to that number.  It says code : 0  Bad Phone Number.......if I send a text, like sending a new one all together, it works fine.  It is only on this number it does that.  I have tried deleting the contact and re-entering but it does the same thing.  Any ideas?

 

I still am running 2.1 by the way.

I had this happen to 1 of my 3 Fascinates.

 

Tried deleting, readding, renaming, editing. Could not get it to work right.

 

Unfortunately, the only way I was able to fix it was by doing a Factory data reset,

then reloading my contacts from my Google account.

 

But that did fix it.

 

There may be other ways, but I could not find one  : - (
