Env Touch data plan questions

Hello!

I have looked through some older posts, but would like an official reply from Verizon for my specific questions. I own an Env Touch and when I purchased it, a data plan was not *required* for the phone yet. I want to know 2 things

Question 1:

If I get an unlimited data plan for my env touch, can I remove the data plan completely without problem?

Question 2:

If I deactivate my env touch, activate a droid, get an unlimited data plan, deactivate the droid, reactivate the env touch... Can I remove the data plan completely?

When I say remove 'data plan completely', I mean completely..None of that $9.99 stuff

I just talked to an instore Manager. They told me that the Env Touch no longer requires a data plan. All you need to do is block data service to the phone and there ya go!

That is very strange because when I upgraded two of my envtouch phones to android phones with a data plan, I asked if I could DROP the data plan from my envotouch and pay per the MB as those two phones have almost ZERO data usage and it would be cheaper to pay by the MB and they said that I would still have to pay the $9.99 / month

9.99 is just to have the service (phone calls) data's 9.99 is for internet etc

and if u EVER decide to go back to it, that UNLIMITED data will not be available.

I have 2 Env Touch's on the old Connect plan (unlimited EVERYTHING) and I refuse to switch up
