Simple way to re-lock LG Cosmos Touch VN270?

Is there a way to easily lock the phone (after you have unlocked it) without having to go into the security options?

 

I am not referring to the physical "lock button" on the phone.  I am referring to the "Lock Phone Now" security setting.

 

When the security is set, I touch  "Unlock" (on the lower-right of the screen) and enter in my code to access all the phone features.  However, if I would like to set the lock again, I need to go into the settings menu, select Phone Settings, Security, Enter my 4 digit code and then finally select "Lock Phone now".

 

Very tedious and a lot of steps just to re-lock the phone.  It seems like there should be an easy way to lock the phone.

I can imagine how frustrating it may get having to always go through the Settings / Security settings every time you want to lock your device!

 

However, there isn't a dedicated key for locking the phone via the Security settings, only for the touch screen.  I would like to suggest changing the setting to lock the phone on "Power Up".  This would, at least, lock the phone automatically every time it is powered on.  Instructions how to enable this setting below:

 

1. Unlock the touch screen by dragging [Unlock] to the right or press the Unlock Key on the right side of your phone and touch the Menu Quick Key .

2. Touch Settings .

3. Touch Phone Settings.

4. Touch Security.

5. Enter the four-digit lock code.

6. Touch Phone Lock.

7. Touch a setting: "Unlocked" The phone is not locked.  "On Power Up" The phone is locked when it is turned on.
