My DROID and a lot of other people's DROID is exhibiting an annoying bug when you record video. Anywhere from thirty seconds to two minutes into the video, there's about one second of bad distortion/pixelation (that you only see on playback) and from that point on in the video the video and audio are out of sync.
I have examples of this as it happens almost all the time (though not every single time) when I record video on my DROID.
Here is a thread where lots of other folks are having the same problem.

Here is another on the Motorola forums:
https://supportforums.motorola.com/thread/25430?tstart=0 - I started this thread but at the bottom another user reports having the same issue.
I have tried everything. Upgrading to 2.1 OTA, formatting the SD card, killing all running apps before recording video.. nothing works.
I went to my local Verizon store and they want to exchange my phone for a refurbished unit. I don't find this acceptable. I realize I am outside of my 30 days but I was sold a DEFECTIVE phone.
Will Verizon do anything to help me get a NEW DROID? I know that not all phones have this problem but my wife's DROID also has the same problem - we bought our phones the same day so this is probably a hardware issue that was in one lot of DROIDS during production of the phones.
