Does anyone know how to increase the text limitation on a Samsung Intensity II? Whenever I receive a text over 120 (?) characters, it's broken up into 2, 3, or more messages. Is this a phone limitation or is it the service provider?

Great question! All inter-carrier (carrier to different carrier) messaging is capped at 160 characters. Typically, any message over 160 characters is broken up into multiple messages to be delivered. This is the process for all carriers. Any message you send to another Verizon Wireless customer will be delivered as one large text message.
