Storm Default Send Using

All,

Does anyone know how to set the "Send Using:" to not use the default email address on the Storm? I would like it to use the email address I opened to compose the email or just set it to blank. I keep sending email messages out with the wrong email address because I forget to reset the "Send Using:", so it goes out through the default email address.

Yes go into option on home screen,then advanced options, then default services, and there is a blue bar that will highlight the two settings. I have Calendar set to my vzw.blackberry.net email account and Messaging set to my primary email addy @satx.rr.com. If I have understood your question correctly that should fix it. If you push on either bar it will show the email accounts you have set within your phone and once you have selected you will click the back button and it will offer you to save.

Also when you are composing an email, the default email will show at the top saying from. It also has a down arrow and you can click on it and change that particular email only the one time. Then it reverts to the default setting.

LCromwell: I don't want to set the default "Send Using:", I want my emails to not use the default since I have 4 different emails I use from my Storm. When I create a new email, I want it to either use the email address that I opened from the main storm menu, or to come up blank - I don't want it to use the default email address since I send emails from each of the accounts depending on what I am doing.

Go to compose an email and see where your return email addy is? Then if you highlight it, you can scroll thru the emails in your Storm and pick which one you want to send from. As far as I know, blank will not be an option.
