Hotmail Authentication Error

Question

I'm having a really hard time getting my hotmail added to my incredible 2. It says authentication failed. I had this problem on my other phone also(which isn't a smartphone). I know the information that I'm putting in is correct. Does anyone know how I can get around this and get it put on my phone?

Thanks. I figured it out now. I found out that when I sent up my messenger it cut me off one letter short of the password I've been using. When I typed it in the way I had it on messenger it worked. Thanks for your help though!
