Downloading pictures from Samsung Rouge to my PC

I got a new phone and went to the store to transfer all my contact and pictures - was told they can only transfer contacts.  I was told I can transfer my pictures/videos to my PC by using the USB.  I tried but a pop-up comes up saying "The hardware was not installed" "Click Back if you have installation media such as a CD-ROM"  This phone never came w/ a CD-ROM - so what are they talkking about????  Please help!!!!

I can assist you with the steps on how to transfer pictures from your phone to your PC. 

 

To transfer Picture Messages from wireless handset to PC:

 

1. Access photo from "My Pictures" and choose "Options."

2. Select "Move" or "Transfer."

3. Remove memory card and insert card and card reader in USB port.

4. Go to your file directory on the PC. Transfer files to the folder of your choice.

 

If you do not have a memory card in your phone, you are able to send your pictures, one at a time, to your email address, or to PIX Place. Pix Place is a free online service that is included with our Picture Messaging service. Once you have registered on the Pix Place website you will be able to perform the following functions:

 

· Store your favorite picture messages from your camera phone.

· Create and name your own online photo albums.

· Upload and send images from your computer's hard drive.

· Invite friends and family to view albums.

· Create picture messages online with your own pictures, sounds, and text.

· Choose images and sounds from the "Gallery" to include in your messages.
