New lg vortex symbol

Does anyone know what the symbol is that's a circle with what looks to be a sideways lightning bolt is? Its on the top left hand side,and Isn't there all the time.Ive asked customer service,searched every manual for it too,with no luck.Just wondering if one of you may know..

Good morning! Let's take a look at that symbol. You are right, that symbol is not in the manual and I've not seen it ever on my personal device. I can say that if you see it on the upper left portion of the notification bar, its related to an application, message or update of some kind. If you drag the notification bar down, do you see anything listed? If you have trouble dragging down the notification bar, you can press the 'menu' button from the home screen and tap "Notifications" to see them.

 

Please advise what you've got listed under 'Notifications' so I can help!
