Recent difficulty sending pics to Facebook from an LG Cosmos

SW Version: VN250V04

Up until about two weeks ago, I had no issues uploading images from my phone to the Mobile Uploads folder on Facebook via SMS to the number 32665.

The phone receives texts from Facebook all day long. I can reply to these texts, and the reply appears on Facebook within seconds. I can post to my profile from my phone, when sending to 32665. Again, these appear quickly on my profile.

I've tried sending using the Messaging > Social Networks > Facebook > Picture Upload option.

I've tried sending a picture message to 32665.

I've tried sending a picture message to my personal email viewed at facebook.com/mobile

All methods do not work consistently. The only method that has worked is the Messaging > Social Networks > Facebook > Picture Upload option, and it is inconsistent.

Facebook really doesn't have a support option. And since it appears to be another change to their site that's the root of my issue, I've come here looking (hoping) for assistance.

I can't help, but I've been having the same problem with my LG Chocolate. This was a feature that sold me on the phone, and now it doesn't work. Very dissapointing.

I am having the same issues and it is very frustrating as this is a feature of the phone.

Will stop by more local store today and post if there is any help I can provide.

Have you recently made changes to your account that can prevent uploading pictures to Facebook. For example, if a Premium Message Block was placed on the account, it may prevent sending the text message to the Facebook 5 digit code. PM your mobile number and I will check on this for you.

I made no changes to my account.

Today I was able to upload three messages using this method:

Messaging > New Message > Picture Message > To: my personal email address at facebook user@m.facebook.com > add image and text > send

The old method no longer uploads anything:

Messaging > Social Networks > Facebook > Picture Upload > choose picture > send

I can still do status updates via: Messaging > Social Networks > Facebook > Status Update

Anyone figured this out yet? I just got LG Cosmos touch yesterday and have been spending hours trying to get to work with facebook. I got texts to work, but not pictures. Do you need a data plan to text pics to facebook? Also, I tried facebook support and they keep saying I need to text to my personalized email - switch even by following their instructions - I can not find it. I would assume sending any type of *****@m.facebook.com message would require a data plan - is that why I am having the issue? As you can see I am tired and VERY frustrated with my new phone which advertised posts pics to facebook without a data plan.
