Why do spam emails appear on my BlackBerry and not in my Outlook?

I have a BlackBerry Bold 9650. I am new to BlackBerries and I am still learning the capabilities. I am getting spam emails on my BB but these do not appear in my Outlook inbox. Why is this happening? Is there a way I can identify them as spam on  my BB and block them from appearing?

That's because Outlook has a spam filter and your BB doesn't.  There are apps you can load to enable you to mark emails as spam.
