Delete and email account

I am trying to delete a Yahoo email account from my HTC Drod Incredible 2.  The manual says to click on the account from the accounts & sync menu, then click delete.  However, when I click on the account there is no option displayed to delete it.  Does anyone know of another way to delete the account?  Thanks...

Hi there! I was able to do some research and found additional steps in order to remove the Yahoo! email account from your device. Here are the steps.  Please advise that these steps worked for you.
