Returning Droid X?

I've had the Droid X for almost a year and ever since I got it its been having serious problems. Yesterday was the last straw when it decided to turn itself off and then on and then off again for about 2 hours. There was nothing I could do besides just waitining. So I've decided to find a way to get a new phone becuase the Droid X is not performing. Are there any ways to get a new phone due to complications from your current one?

Adding to what was stated, to get the device replaced via warranty, you would need to speak with me or someone in customer service. We would need to do some troubleshooting to see if the issues can be resolved without the need to replace the device. You should have a one year warranty on your Droid X from the date of purchase. Besides the step of reseating the battery, What other steps have you tried to see if they would help? Perhaps an application on the device causing it to reboot. Please try going into your menu, manage apps, and tap running. It should display the applications running that can use up resources that otherwise maybe available preventing the reboot. When viewing the running applications, select one and press the stop button. Try selecting as many applications as possible freeing up resources. Then monitor the device's performance. See if the reboots issue continues. I'm providing a link to the website to use as further reference. if you're withn a year it's warranty issue. if you lose it & have insurance or it's accidentally dropped in the toilet..........

Yes, and it didnt work. It worked in the past when something like this has happened but it didn't yesterday. So my DX was inoperable for about 2 hours.

Who would I contact about the warranty to get a new phone?

let me gaze into the crystal ball, it's coming to me now, try verizon customer cs if it's a warranty or they'll spin you to the insurance co if you have insurance..
