ENV Touch HELP!!

HELP!! My son was playing with my EnV Touch and now the touch screen isn't working. It seems to know I'm touching it as the icons "light up"...but my touching it doesn't actually do anything.

Has anyone had this problem and/or know how to fix it?? I tried to recalibrate...but the screen won't react to my touch.

JoJoZ34, as SuzyQ mentioned, I would start with a basic battery pull.  That seems to resolve multiple phone quirks, just resetting the device.  However, if that doesn't work, I would do a "Reset Default" to put the phone back in its default settings.  This will not erase any of your phones data or media.  To perform a Reset Default: from the main screen, touch Menu.  Then touch Settings & Tools, touch Phone Settings, touch Security (Enter the Phone Lock Code - default is the last 4 digits of the phone number), then touch Reset Default.

 

If your touch screen still doesn't respond properly we can look into replacement options.
