Casio Brigade out of production??

As I worked with my phone insurance company for a replacement on a damaged Casio Brigade (water damage) I was told that I could not get a replacement Brigade as they are now out of production, This was also confirmed by phone with Verizon. Now what to do?

When a phone is no longer offered as an insurance replacement, they generally offer a device that is comparable. This device may not become available again if it's no longer in production, but you can give a ring to Asurion to see what other devices can be substituted.

But this is terrible news. There is nothing else like it on the market, and I've been looking forward to convincing my husband to consider one when his phone died. Is there a similar one in the works for this winter?

The Commando is pretty but it's so not the same thing.
