Answering Call

I have the Incredible 2 and cannot answer calls.

When I receive a call the screen shows who is calling but the "answer/decline" call option does not show up. How do I reset the option to show the "answer/decline" call option to show back up; or, how do I answer the call without that option?

The answer/decline option comes up whenever you are using the phone in another task, like drafting and email or text message. It gives you the option to take the call or decline it and keep working on whatever it is you were doing. If the phone is off then when it rings you don't get the answer/decline option, but rather the lockscreen with the "unlock to answer" option. What you do is pull the lock bar down and that answers the call. The iPhone works exactly the same way too.

Thought so - guess I'm just too slow to unlock the phone to get to it...

I cannot tell you how many times I have simply tried to answer a call by sliding my finger down the screen to unlock and answer the call, and it does not work! Sometimes, I will try ten times until finally the caller hangs up or it goes to voicemail. It is so irritating!

Nope - even with phone off; call comes in it just shows me the caller ID but no option to answer the call?

I have serious issues with the screen locking and not responding to my trying to unlock it and sometimes I miss the call entirely while everyone around me shakes their heads wondering what is the matter with me that I am holding my ringing phone and not doing anything about it.
