Problems with SMS? No receiving all messages?

I've recently noticed that my friends and family aren't receiving all of my SMS messages, thus rending the messages they are receiving as useless or utterly confusing. Furthermore, I'm not receving all of their messages...anyone experience this? Fix?

it's happened to me 3 times (that i'm aware of). each time i rebooted and it worked fine again. the problem is that i never knew when it was happening until my wife called and said "why are you ignoring my texts!?!?" so i have no idea if or how many texts i may have missed. i haven't found a fix and haven't figured out what triggers it. however, i now restart the phone every day after i charge it anyway and it seems to not be occuring anymore.

Thanks, I'll try that method. It's terrible that we pay for a service that doesn't work unless you restart the phone daily....

yeah....but in this case, i don't mind so much. i like to power it down and back up daily anyhow. it seems to run much smoother.
