HTC made a boo boo with 2.3........the market thinks we're on Sprint, and not Verizon.

Are you sure thats not the market bug because the same issue happened when the 2.2 update hit the Droid X.

well I guess i'm not sure of anything, I just know its being mass reported, showing up as Sprint with Spring apps for the new 2.3.4 update that went out over the last day or so.

No, because it also thinks it's an Evo with a 4.3" screen. There build prop file is incorrect - it was verified incorrect by custom rom developers, based on the previous leak of the update. And it's the same, broken file in the OTA update.

Ha. Funny. We couldn't even get Verizon to say IF there was an update for the phone coming, let alone when! I wouldn't hold your breath.

Thanks everyone for your input. I have seen this issue reported several times and have notified our product team. Once we have a resolution, a software update will be pushed to devices.
