Dialing into voicemail directly

Is there a way to directly dial into a voice mailbox without it ringing on the other end?

Do you mean your voicemail, or someone else's? If they are a Verizon customer, you can use option 2 when you dial in to YOUR voicemail to send a message to their voicemail - but it only works with Verizon cell #'s.
