For about the whole time I've had this phone I've been receiving the Backup Assistant error code. But up until this week it hasn't been affecting my phones performance. At the beginning of the week I got the usual error code, thought nothing of it and cleared my notification window. A few hours later I notice my battery had drained a lot faster than it regularly does. Maybe ten minutes after observing this I get a force close message saying Backup Assistant had stopped working. The next day I received the same error code. I cleared it from the notification window, but this time checked the task manager to see if I could close the app so it wouldn't drain my battery. Once the task manager was open I see that the app is not still running so I lock my phone. A few hours later I realize that my battery's drained and soon receive another force close message. Does anyone know how to close Backup Assistant after I receive the error message? My phone automatically backs up every day! Thanks.
