Video files to large to upload

Everytime I try to upload a video to email or something, I get an error message saying that the file it to large to upload. It doesn't matter if the file is seconds or 3 1/2 minutes. Anyone have any ideas on why. Is it a software thing? Any input would be awesome.

He is trying to email it, not send a MMS. The problem is either with the application itself, and or the file size. For example Google only allows 20MB attachment total. Some places are 10MB. What is the exact file size you are trying to send and what email provider are you using?

The recent link I added covers that and Verizon doesnt allow no where close to that size....

Is there a size limit to the attachments I can send, forward, and receive via Email and Web for Smartphone? Yes, the following are the size limits for sending, forwarding and receiving attachments:

Sending Attachments	4 MB
Receving Attachments	4 MB
Forwarding Attachments	2 MB

Thats ridiculous......I have a video of my dog that is 15 seconds long and I can't send it anywhere.....because 'the file is too large to upload". It's 2011 and a lot of us live and die by our smartphones. Having a 4MB limit on video is like only being allowed to put a half a gallon of gas in a 20 gallon tank.

I do agree but this is the restrictions but keep in mind if you send it on wifi you usually can send up to the email accounts restriction instead of the networks restrictions,

I believe the restriction size on the network is to avoid network load and minimize sending corropt files... Mobile connections isnt really a reliable connection to transmit large amounts of data.

You sure it's 4MB? Is this in 3GP format? Last time I sent something was a 1080P video of my son which was about 10 seconds and that was 75MB is size.

What email address are you using or are you using MMS for a restriction that small?

This is the information given by Verizon, I thought it was 10megs but when I posted this I was corrected by the Admin... Boy 75MB, I never thought to send something that large.

That's for a Verizon made app from reading their FAQ page. I remember that from a while ago. Most places like Google set their own limits. Most offer 5-30MB for attachments. Gmail, and Email for Android for example I am limited to what my providers allow.
