I am a new Droid X2 owner/user.  My car is equipped with bluetooth and I have successfully added my Droid and it's connected with my car.  However, when trying to transfer my contacts from my Droid to my car it keeps failing.  During the trying to transfer process, my Droid says "phonebook access request".  Does anyone know how to grant such a phonebook access request?  Thanks in advance!!

This seems to be a common issue with new devices with some head units, I have came to a conclusion that this is happening due to the updated hardware and drivers.

 

The older devices have been having no issues using this option but newer devices that updated the Bluetooth stacks to increase security protocols the older devices will not communicate completely because of supported drivers.

 

Most likely their isn't a solution for this at this time, sometimes updating software of radio helps but not all devices have this option so the only solution is to report this issue with the developer and hope that they can add the option with a future update..
