Unknown Error

My daughter tried to send me a multimedia message today. She was trying to send a picture of my grandchildren on the first day of school. It won't open and keeps sending me an unknown error message repeatedly. My younger daughter received the picture with no problem. She tried to forward it to me but it still didn't work. Any suggestions?
