Trouble entering Marketplace(Google issue)

All day I have been trying to get onto Marketplace. It says I am not signed into Google. So I try to sign it, it accepts password but then I have to enter jumbled text so I do that and it brings me back saying invalid password. So I reset my password on Google and then tried to sign in again on my phone and same problem. Any ideas?

I noticed this a while back and it ended up being because someone attempted to many times to log into account, I was able to resolve by logging into account from a pc and change password there...  This did not work from phone..
