Texts sent to wrong Recipients!

I have a LG Cosmos Touch and when I send messages they will randomly go to another person in my phone book. For the most part it is only bothersome but recently I have had messages be switched that change an entire conversation and have even made some people angry at me. This is a very dangerous glitch and it needs fixed soon.

I've researched and found no related internal know issues concerning the LG Cosmos Touch. I've not seen an entire conversation be sent to the wrong person myself, so I'm curious and anxious to help.

 

 At what point are you seeing the text going to the wrong person? Is it an issue where it doesn't show it going to the wrong person, but you get alerted by them that the message was sent in error? Have you verified the same mobile number isn't listed for multiple contacts? I recommend all contacts in your phone be entered in 10-digit format (like: 555-555-5555; not 1-555-555-5555 or 555-5555). Once you've confirmed that information is all correct, please remove all messaging threads from your phone. Also, ensure you have the latest software in your phone by going into 'Settings & Tools>Phone Info>Software Update>Check New.
