Saving Pics To microSD Card

I just got the Cosmos Touch, and when I tried to save a photo a friend sent me, I touched the photo to save it, it then said "saved to phone" instead of "saved to card." I do I get this set right?

Also, this is the same sd card I used in my LG Chocolate phone, and after the store employee took the sd card out of my Chocolate and put it in the Cosmos, I got home noticed all my photos saved before on the card were gone. What could have caused this?

go to menu, settings, then memory, then save options or sd card.. something in there

Elitist_Jerk, thanks for your input. desertlonghair, I'm sorry all the pictures on your previous phone were gone from the SD card. The representative probably formatted the card which removed some of the data that was present from the previous phone. I have listed the steps to save pictures music to your phone or SD card.

From the main screen, touch Menu.
Touch Settings.
Touch Memory.
Touch Save Options.
Touch an option.
The Card option is only available when a memory card is inserted.
