double text message?!?!?

I set up handcent sms like I was suggested to.  But now I get my texts coming in on there and on the messages.  Is there anyway to stop it from coming in on both?  Right now I have to go into both messages and read the messages twice. lol.  I know there has to be a simpler way.  I just cant figure it out.

Open your old messaging app, go to menu, settings, and clear the checkbox for "Retrieve messages" and "notificatios"

 

It's a single message, just being displayed by both apps, so you are not being "double charged" for them
