LG OCTANE - I can't find the "Status" for Sent text messages

Question

My previous phones were all LG as well, and on all of them, you could see the "status" of a text message that you sent. It showed what time the message was received by the other phone (for ex., if the receiver's phone was off, you would know they hadn't yet gotten your message, etc.).

I just got the LG Octane and I don't see this feature anywhere in my Sent text messages. I thought this was a universal feature for all of Verizon Wireless phones?

I guess I'd become addicted to this feature and I'm disappointed that the LG Octane doesn't have it - but why?? Or am I missing something here...

I hear your frustration about not being able to find the status information about the sent text messages on your LG Octane phone. How are you attempting to access the information about the sent text messages? The information should be available in your sent folder under the options for your device. In not saying which kind of LG phone you had previously, the access method used with your previous phone would not the same method used with the recently received LG Octane phone.

To access information of your sent text messages go into your sent message folder using the Internal Keypad:

1. Open the flip and press the OK Key [MENU].﻿

2. Press Messaging.

3. Press Messages.

4. Use the Directional Key to highlight a message entry.

5. Press the Left Soft "-" key and press the OK key to open the message.

6. Press the Right Soft Key for sent Options and select the desired message for its status Information.
