Well, here we are over a year after the first posts for this problem and it is STILL a problem. My Droid is less than 3 months old and a reboot SUCKS. Yes yes, I tried this

I'm not looking forward to a reboot. It makes me want to not waste time re-personalizing the thing if I'll just have to reboot over and over.
