Can anyone tell me if or how you can save a picture message sent to your samsung illusion and use it as wallpaper

You may not be able to save it as wallpaper from the message directly. So, first, save the picture to your phone or to an SD card. Then, once it is saved, you can choose it as your wallpaper.
