A please as a Trophy user (nad a happy one).
Please VZW update to Mango ASAP!
Also what about new WP 7 new phones at the same time!
A long time VZW customer
So I have been watching for phone updates, I decided to connect to Zune. It said there was an update and the phone NEVER said it. It was NOT the Mango code. What gives?

Agreed!
As a developer, I'm already running Mango on my device, and I love demonstrating some of the new Mango features to people (I've sold a number of people on Windows Phone devices, who have gone to the store and bought one). The VZW Trophy ROM has already been leaked online, so get with it Verizon! Listen to your customers!
Same here PLEASE. In the last few years I waited for theses upgrades for a year on the Omnia, i760, and i700. Please show me Verizon has advanced in the hardware department.
Same here as well, although...today as I stopped by a Verizon store I was playing with the store HTC trophy, not mine... and the {word filter avoidance} was running Mango...Yes, Mango, Windows Phone 7.5. I called customer service because I did not want to waste my time with those Verizon Reps who think they know everything, but do not know jack of anything. I did not get the chance to call. One thing I sure is that the phone at the store was running Mango and I want my Mango **bleep**! SO, Big red, what is the deal here, and please give this OS WP some credit {word filter avoidance} respect.
It looks like we'll get the update last. I hope it comes this week. Come on Verizon.

Nope. Mine is updating as I type this. From Mango for devs, to Mango for all.
Mine is also updating from Mango from Devs to Mango for all. :smileyhappy:
Very nice! My Trophy will be arriving UPS sometime in the next couple hours, and now I have the official Mango to look forward to!
I am currently downloading the Mango update on my HTC Trophy and it is all because of a nice little trick I read on another vzw support thread. Some of you may have already come across other posts that give instructions for forcing the update on zune. I tried this several times and it did not work. Then I came across the tip to put your phone into "airplane mode" first before plugging it into zune. So here are the instructions that worked for me: first put your phone into airplane mode, then connect your phone to your computer using the usb cable. Once zune is up and running go to "settings" and then under the "phone" menu click "update". After clicking "update" wait 3 seconds and then disconnect the internet from your computer. (I know this sounds crazy but it works). After a few seconds of searching there should be a message that pops up stating that there is a new update available. Reconnect the internet to your computer and begin the updating process. If a message pops up that zune was unable to find an update because there was no internet connection, then try again, and pay special attention to when you disconnect the internet. If you do it to early or to late it won't work. Good luck and enjoy your mango breakfast!
I had my mango martini yesterday!
AND this morning I got a calendar reminder, and I HAVE snooze choices!!! Thank you.
Followed the directions for forcing the update and......it worked!! Took me three tries but finally got it! Thanks!! Mango is great!
I, too, followed the directions for the manual/forced update and they worked flawlessly, well, on the 2nd try anyway. The timing of the Internet disconnect is key. It's hokey and who knows why it works and depends on timing, but it does. First the phone updated from 7392 to 7403 then 7720. Thank you to whoever it was that posted this tip!! :-)
I also might remind all to go to Marketplace occasionally, where application updates show up.

YES!
This is a frustration for those of us developing applications. I have published updates to my apps, and through the analytics that I've installed in them, I can see that there are people still using version 1.0, when one of my apps is up to 1.6! I have no way of contacting people using my apps, to let them know there is an update.
Here's the key if you don't want to have to go check Marketplace now and then... Pin Marketplace to Start. It is a live tile. A quick glance will tell you if there are updates to apps you have installed. If there is a number on the tile, you have that number of apps with updates available.
