Data stopped working this evening

Hi All,

Just switched from a Storm 2 to a RAZR last week. I noticed this evening that I had no data and just a couple voice bars. I've verified that it's set to CDMA/LTE, and I've restarted a couple times, with no improvement. Right now it displays no signal bars at all, but I downloaded an app called Network Signal Info, and it reports that signal strength is ~44dBm, Net type is LTE and data state is Disconnected. Located in Springfield MA.

WiFi is working properly, and I installed the update last night.

Anyone else having data problems right now? I'm trying to figure out if it's a network or device issue.

Same situation with me in the Los Angeles area.

I am having this same issue in Las Vegas. Worked great yesterday and today, solid connection. Just now, I disconnected wifi and cannot get data. I was wondering if it was just my phone, but if y'all have the same issue, it is the network and not my hardware/software.

i jst picked up my nexus last nite and this morning i had no emails being pushed to me. it is 945a in Chicago and no signal strength, my device works only in wifi spots. brutal.

Woke up this morning to an error on the RAZR that SIM authentication failed. I powered the phone down and removed the SIM card then re-inserted it. After powering up, it has a data connection and everything is working fine. Maybe there was a problem with the authentication for 4g lte last night?

No data this morning in the Hampton Roads (VA) area. Called 611 and was told by the automated help that they "were already aware of the 4G/LTE outage in my area". 3G came up for me sometime this afternoon. Still no 4G at this time... :smileymad:

Woke up this morning to spotty 3G, so I powered down, pulled out the SIM, reseated it, powered back up, and 4G/LTE was back. I checked for the update (SETTINGS->ABOUT PHONE->SYSTEM UPDATES) which was available, downloaded the file, installed it, then it rebooted itself. I've been checking periodically on the data connectioni and I haven't seen it drop since the update.

No data in San Francisco either... 4G Network went down, but Verizon said it was only 4G

I'm still on 3G, and no network connectivity for me. :smileysad

I have a Moto Droid Razr and live in plattsmouth, ne. Same prob here. 4g,.3g data disconnected 2hrs ago. And no network icon in status bar.. Just the 5 bar signal. No 3g, 4g, not even a 1X icon!! Vz gave me the sim pull, restart phone 5 times run around bs..... And said shes gotta submit a tickek and ill hear back within 3days.. Wtf ever verizon. Fu for treating all ur loyal customers like this.... So bs....
