From PocketNow,
"Verizon Wireless is expected to announce a Nokia Windows Phone at the CES trade show in mid-January", says a PCMag report talking about Microsoft's CDMA and LTE plans for future Windows Phones.
Andrew Lees, head of Microsoft's Windows Phone division, said that the lack of CDMA is "no limitation of the OS, it's a timing thing between the operator and the OEMs". "I don't think there's any kind of head start gets, but I think Stephen [Elop} was more aggressive in terms of getting out there with the news", said Greg Sullivan, Windows Phone Senior Product Manager.
The technology and support is there for every OEM -- even if the current Mango platform doesn't support LTE, but other update bits do -- the same way it is there for the Finnish manufacturer. Nokia has already committed to bringing LTE to Windows Phone in America and other manufacturers will definitely follow.
Wonder if this will be the Nokia 900
