Whenever I have tried or it has automatically tried to update my apps. it just comes up with a warning triangle and never downloads them any idea it does the same whenever i try to download a new app so sure the issue is with the downloading process
well found my issue was i turned on data saver once i went back in under battery and data manager and turned it back off i'm able to download again. user error strikes again
Connect device to PC as Mass storage and browse to /sdcard/.android_secure and delete the smdl2tmp1.asec file from sd card and reboot should work..
actually i am iamnotamuze not sure why it won't take me. but don't show that file anywhere in the sd card
your right common sense isn't so common anymore it is all apps i try to upgrade or download that just error out and never downlod.
Thanks everyone for your feedback!
Iamnotamuse,
Let's see if we can get your applications working! I know how important it is to be able to download an update applications on an Android. First, try clearing the data/cache from your Market application. Then try downloading or updating an application. If you are still having issues, it could possibly be an issue with the memory card. Try unmounting the SD card by going to Settings>SD & Phone Storage>Unmount SD card, and then try to update an application. If if works that way, then a file on the SD card is causing the issue. Unmounting temporarily resolves the issue until you need to mount again or reboot. Try looking for the file Wildman suggested again and delete it. If still unable to find it, you may need to format your memory card. Backup pictures, music, etc to your computer an move apps on the SD card to the phone's memory.
