My Droid 2 Global won't connect to either one of my bluetooth headsets?

I own a Droid 2 Global, a Jawbone Prime, and a Plantronics explorar 390 that work gave me. I cannot get my phone to connect to either headset. When I put either headset in pairing mode, scan for devices, my phone sees either headset, but when I select pair with this device I get a could not establish communication error. Any ideas?

JHarveyjr, thank you for sharing your troubleshooting steps for this issue. It sounds like you are using the correct pairing instructions for each device since the phone finds each one. Have you previously been able to pair with either of these devices or any other Bluetooth devices? If so, and you have installed any new applications since this started, please uninstall. Also boot your phone into safe mode to test to see if an application may be causing the issue. If the issue is still not resolved, then I suggest a factory reset.
