Now I have heard all the problems that people have been having with dropped calls with the Charge, and never really experienced them until last night. On a phone call....call dropped. I call the person back and it dropped again. It did this 4 more times. I had never dropped a call with this phone before so thought it was odd. This morning on a call and the same thing started happening. Dropped 3 times. Also, my phone suddenly froze and had to pull out the battery and reboot. I have had the issue with the dropped data and went to the Verizon store and they said I had to prove it to them for them to do anything. Of course with as much as I tried, could not get it to drop. The rep told me that I could try to put it through the insurance but if the insurance company could not get it to duplicate, then I would get stuck with a large bill for the full retail price of the replacement phone. So needless to say, that scared me off in doing anything about it. Another problem that I have experienced that I have not heard anyone else complain about is when I use my phone as a gps while it's plugged in, it over heats. Why would they offer a feature like this that you can't use while it's plugged in? Certainly on a long trip if I don't plug it in, the battery will die. This phone is just starting to aggravate me and it seems that they used a scare tactic on me to prevent me from doing anything about it.
