New Facebook Version

So the new version of Facebook is officially out and I downloaded it this AM and about 2 hrs later my phone freaked out!! It started freezing and then continuously rebooting. I couldn't even get a phone call off. I finally was able to turn it off then decided to take a trip to Verizon and of course after I walked in with the phone it worked perfectly. They seemed to think that FB was downloading a lot of info at once and the phone couldn't take it (curve 8330) This ever happen to anyone else?

I heard one feature of the new Facebook app was that it updated all of your phone contacts that are also Facebook friends with their profile picture in your address book. 

If so, this definitely could freeze a phone as it tries to reconcile and download/upload all that info at the same time. 

 

If something like this happens again, I'd recommend just popping the battery out for a few seconds and then back in; the reboot will normally fix the freezing.
