The volume on my thunderbolt is to low to hear it ring

I had to do a hard reset due to no data connection. After that the volume is to low to hear the phone ring. I've tried everything, but still no luck. I might have to do a reset again. Does anyone have any feed back on this? Thanks

Have you checked your sound volume settings? Home;menu;settings; sound;volume. If these settings seem good, try using a different tone(maybe got corrupted)
