LG Octane messaging question

The Octane looks like a great messaging phone and the keyboard is very similar to the phone the EnV Touch that I have right now. My EnV Touch does some weird things sometimes like turns off randomly and resets my settings to the default settings. I'm due for a new phone and will probably get the Octane. The sch370 (a.k.a. "Reality Updated") has a too much of a smallish/cramped keyboard for me. I hate that I have to give up the touch screen and QWERTY keyboard combo but the Octane looks like the best non-data messaging phone out there.

My question is about the messages in the Octane. Does the Octane have threaded text messaging? Like are the texts sorted by person or just by time received?

The Octane does have threaded text messaging. And many people have mentioned having similar problems with their devices shutting off as well.

My Octane was **bleep**ting off randomly, as well, especially while texting. I took it in to Verizon and the very nice gentleman in repair worked with it for a good 20 minutes. He said he could not find a thing wrong with it. He told me to copy all the pics/info frome my micro sd card onto my computer and reformat the micro sd card. He said if it was still doing it, tpo bring it back and they would replace it. I took it home and did what he said. It worked because I have had NO problems since and that was 3 months ago! Try it and see if it helps!
