If no SD card in phone...Having problems...

Just got my Droid by Motorola. Activated it yesterday. Can you still download apps? Im not sure what the SD card is used for. I have one on order but Im wanting to know if not having one is the reason my Market is saying its not installed on my phone when it was working yesterday? I was able to install an app yesterday but now it shows not installed.... any ideas? (btw the icon is on the sceen)..

May help if you explain which Droid you have because so many devices are refrence as a droid. Some devices have large internal storage areas, some do not have much but have a partition to store app data, without device info it is hard to give reliable info.

Hello adrenolize,

Many Android devices do require the SD card before you can take a picture or even download an application to it. When you were in the process of trying to install an application on your device, did it give an error message at all?
